When I first came across Terrorkitten's work on Flickr I felt a mixture of amazement and depression. Amazement at discovering the work of a great photographer whose technique and skill took my breath away. Depression at knowing that as a photographer myself, I had so much to learn before I could produce such images. When I see his photographs I'm reminded of the work of great photographers from the past such as Kertesz, Sieff and the like. Yet the images are fresh and innovative.

Brilliant work.

Τα συναισθήματά μου κατά την πρώτη επαφή με την δουλειά του terrokitten ήταν ένα μείγμα εκπληξης και κατάθλιψης. Εκπληξης, ανακλύπτοντας εναν φωτογράφο του οποίου η τεχνική και οι ικανότητες μου έκοψαν κυριολεκτικά την ανάσα. Κατάθλιψη, συνειδητοποιώντας ότι, ως φωτογράφος, είχα πολλα να μάθω πρίν φτάσω σε αντίστοιχο αποτέλεσμα.

Αν και, βλέποντας τη δουλειά του μου ερχεται στο νου το έργο φωτογράφων μεγάλου βεληνεκούς, όπως των Kertesz, Sieff και άλλων, οι εικόνες του είναι πάντα φρέσκες και καινοτόμες.

Εξαιρετική δουλειά.
